Books Died On is basically Richard Kentopp and whoever he wants to play with him. This includes, but is not limited to: James Drake Pitts, James Rafferty Halstead, Christa Palazzolo, Cari Palazzolo, Joshua Myers, Lindsay Elliott, Travis Wang Bannerman, Roberto Jiminez, David Lockett, and many many more.
Here's a more
general bio:
books died on
is not a popular band. they're so boring and unlistenable it makes
everyone sick. but they have ethics in their career as a band. they
don't play expensive shows or lame-ass clubs to further their name. they
are trying to have integrity in they music they make, and the lives they live.
so you'll never see them playing on Letterman or in a mall, but you can find
them playing shows in front of people, sharing what they have to share.
and spewing out a bunch of nonsense that is way too thought out.
how pretentious are they? they only make concept and story albums, and live, they only play one of those albums all the way through. but, if you get to know the guys and girls making the music, you'll see that they aren't all that audacious, they're just folks living their lives with smiles on their faces, and a instruments in their hands.
maybe, here's
a bit better of a bio:
books died on
is a collective of musicians that makes albums. the
first ep was recorded
over the first year of the band's life, in Austin, Tx. the
first
full-length-concept album came out in October of 2004, the second is
an EP and arrived in May 2005.
then they did another EP which was released
in May of 2006. they're dedicated to spreading a message of death and destruction, a message
that is very much for real in the form of concept/themed records. also, they share the message of redemption,
whereby people may realize that not all hope is lost through what Jesus Christ
did... or not. it's a dark
world out there my friends.
