Artist: Flashlight Fiction
Title: The Production Cycle (EP)
Though Flashlight Fiction broke up in July of 2002, they vowed to record some of the songs that had not been tracked when they parted ways. The last days of 2002 and the first of 2003 were spent in the Castle Recording Studio in Austin, Tx making those recordings. The new Flashlight EP is more aggressive and dark than the first, however the same setup is kept: two guitars and drums. It sounds more like Tortoise or Mogwai than American Football. Maybe.
